Classical Drawing Techniques

July 10 &11 - 2010

Instructor: Ardis DeFreece

— Adult Classes for Emerging Artists —

Girls Night Out

Open to All Levels

Students will learn the basic elements of classical drawing in the “sight-size” method used by masters in European ateliers for centuries.

Instructor Ardis DeFreece will demonstrate and students will work from still life setups and casts. Students will learn to control the light on their subject for maximum effect, and the skills to work in both strong and subtle values.

This will be a fun and challenging course. The class is open to all levels, but you should have some basic drawing knowledge. If you have any questions about whether or not you should participate in this class, please call the instructor, Ardis DeFreece, directly.
