'Paw Prints’ Art Show to Benefit Pets

Columbia Art Gallery in Hood River joins PROD (Promoting Responsible Ownership of Dogs), in bringing to the Gorge a series of art events featuring local pets.

The events are part of the Paw Prints art show, which opens at the Columbia Art Gallery on Friday, Nov. 3.  The public is invited to the artist reception, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.  The show continues through Nov. 26.

Adults & Kids Both Involved

Highly regarded artists throughout the Gorge have created more than 20 works of art for the show, featuring their favorite pets.

82 aspiring 6th grade artists from the Hood River Middle School will also be showing their work. They are participating as an extension of a special art class conducted last May, organized
by the Arts in Education program, in collaboration with the Columbia Center for the Arts.
