Columbia Center for the Arts is sponsoring its first-ever ‘road trip’ to Ashland and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in May of 2008.
Join us on a joyous theatrical road trip with Kate Mills and Judie Hanel, leaving May 9th by coach, returning on May 11th.
- Upon arrival you’ll be greeted at the Ashland Springs Hotel for your two night stay.
- The first evening, you’ll attend the World Premiere of Welcome Home, Jenny Sutter where you’ll encounter US Marine Jenny Sutter returning from Iraq.
- On Saturday day you'll see The Clay Cart, a 2,000 year old romantic epic from India.
- Saturday evening you'll see The Further Adventures of Hedda Gabler. It’s the final act of Ibsen’s play, and Hedda’s just done herself in – again. Mind bending and riotously funny!
- We'll round out the trip by meeting the actors at a wine and cheese banquet on Saturday night before the show.
