Columbia Center for the Arts is sponsoring its first-ever ‘road trip’ to Ashland and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in May of 2008.
Join us on a joyous theatrical road trip with Kate Mills and Judie Hanel, leaving May 9th by coach, returning on May 11th.
Upon arrival you’ll be greeted at the Ashland Springs Hotel for your two night stay.
The first evening, you’ll attend the World Premiere of Welcome Home, Jenny Sutter where you’ll encounter US Marine Jenny Sutter returning from Iraq.
On Saturday day you'll seeThe Clay Cart, a 2,000 year old romantic epic from India.
Saturday evening you'll see The Further Adventures of Hedda Gabler. It’s the final act of Ibsen’s play, and Hedda’s just done herself in – again. Mind bending and riotously funny!
We'll round out the trip by meeting the actors at a wine and cheese banquet on Saturday night before the show.
