Therese Albert Retrospective
An accomplished artist and resident of Trout Lake, Therese Albert studied for 10 years at Les Beaux Arts De Paris. Known for demanding classwork and setting the highest standards for education, the school attracted students from around the world.

The exhibit opens with the First Friday reception from 6 - 8 pm, and extends through the month of November.

Wild Beauty is both a book and an exhibit currently on display at the Portland Art Museum. They offer an enlightening and awe-inspiring look into the history and early photography of the Gorge.

On Wednesday, December 10th, Terry Toedtemeier, Portland Art Museum''s curator of photography, and John Laursen, co-author of the exquisitely produced large-format book, will make a stunning slide presentation in the theatre of the Columbia Center for the Arts. Learn about the exhibit and book and, see some of the acutal images they worked from.

Silent Auction begins at 6:00; Live auction begins at 7:30

$35 each or $65 for two. Buy in advance at Klindt's Booksellers, The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce, or The Dalles Art Center --- or at the door the day of the event.


Bid on great works of art by local artists such as Mary Rollins, Tony Kiser, Beth Lyons, Nichols Art Glass and many more, and on gift baskets and other packages from local businesses.

All proceeds go to help the Art Center and to fund raise for special building projects. This year we are raising money to finish our art classroom floor.
