Everyman

A timeless clasical about moral issues.


Students in the Columbia Gorge Community College Theatre Program will present this play at Columbia Center for the Arts.  First performed in the late Middle Ages, Everyman is a timeless play that stands at the root of modern theater. It explores universal themes of salvation and redemption. Direct by Richard Parker.

Steven Wax ... Kafka Comes to America

Oregon public defender Steven Wax talks about his book Kafka Comes to America. The book describes the saga of one public defender's struggle to rescue two innocent men from the Kafkaesque practices of our judicial system.

Kafka is now in his sixth term as the Federal Public Defender for the District of Oregon.

This event is made possible by our partners Waucoma Bookstore and Columbia River Fellowship for Peace.

Celtic Music at its BEST!

Part of the GORGE MUSIC SERIES ... organized by the Oak Street Hotel.

According the the New York Times, "Kevin Burke is one of the great living Celtic fiddlers." Cal Scott, a musician with extensive film and television scores to his credit, frequently accompanies Kevin on his tours.
