Be sure to see this groundbreaking project that brought all nine federally-recognized Oregon tribes together to share information about their art, culture, traditions, and history.

The exhibit includes three large displays, one at Columbia Center for the Arts, one at the Hood River Library, and one at the Hood River Adult Center.


Native American Dance

February 28

Eagle Spirit, an inter-tribal dance troupe that consists of both adults and children, will give a FREE dance performance on February 28th at 4pm in the Columbia Center for the Arts theater.

For the fifth year, Hood River Valley High School students are delighted to be part of the Poetry Out Loud National Recitation Contest. The public is cordially invited to listen to the amazing works of these young people. Students can choose from hundreds of poems on the Poetry Out Loud website to memorize and recite.

Storyteller Will Hornyak returns to Hood River to perform as part of the Art Knows No Age Series.His engaging and heart-felt approach to the contemporary issues of aging will delight and inspire you. 

There are two performances on Friday, 2/19, one at Parkhurst House at 10am, and one at Down Manor at 1pm. The performances are free and open to the public.
