RED: From Alizarin to Crimson

February 5 - 27

Remember ... Red Is for Love

Drawing for Drawings Sake

All Media ... All in RED!

The February 2010 show at the Columbia Art Gallery features works whose dominant color is RED – and any shade thereof. You'll find paintings, ceramics, jewelry, photographs ... works in just about every medium.

For the LOVE of It...

Over two dozen local artists are creating new works expressly for this show. You're bound to find something you love. And February, after all is the month for lovers.

Think of it ... Won't the person you love, love to receive a gift in RED from Columbia Center for the Arts? Not sure what the love of your life would really want?  No problem. Gift cards are also available in any amount.

Artist Reception

The First Friday Artist Reception takes place on Friday, February 5th, from 6 to 8pm. Participating artists will be dressed in RED ... and you're invited to dress in red as well (but only if you want to!).

Red ribbons and red prizes will be awarded for “Best of Show” and “Best of Dress.” Plus, you'll be able to enjoy creative red refreshments ... and luscious red wine will be available for purchase (and white, too, of course ... and beer).

Join the fun!!
