About the Show
For the opening art show of 2012, Columbia Center for the Arts presents Trash 2 Art.
Trash 2 Art features work made from objects otherwise destined for the trash or recycling.
Works will include fiber art, jewelry, sculpture, and photography.
Artist Reception
The public is invited to the artist reception on First Friday, Jan. 6 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Beer and wine will be available.
First Friday Event: Create an "Up-Cycle" Journal
Have some up-cycle fun during the First Friday show opening, in the studio at Columbia Center for the Arts. Join master recycler, Cynthia Caudill for free family fun and create an up-cycled journal. 6:00 to 7:30pm
Recycled Art Workshop
Also, in conjunction with the Trash 2 Art show, Cynthia Caudill will be leading a recycled art workshop on January 28th, from 9-12. All ages are welcome. Sign up First Friday with Cynthia, or at www.columbiaarts.org.
