What Weihl's Talk Will Include
Most people have remarkably little visibility into their energy usage. At the same time, studies show that giving people greater visibility can drive significant reductions in energy use.
Google PowerMeter is a software tool that provides consumers with near real-time access to their energy usage using open protocols for both data collection and data visualization. Bill will discuss where Google PowerMeter is headed and the opportunities for going beyond smart meters to integrate information from smart sensors and devices. He’ll also answer questions on the innovative work Google is pursuing in renewable energy.
