About Sharon Lovejoy

Sharon Lovejoy is an award-winning, best selling author and illustrator of eight books, including Sunflower Houses; Trowel & Error; and Roots, Shoots, Buckets & Boots. Sharon also contributed to seven other books including The New Book of Knowledge encyclopedia and publications from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Rodale Press.
In addition, for 13 years, Lovejoy was a contributing editor for Country Living Gardener magazine with a regular feature column, and has been a design consultant for major botanical gardens around the country. Her home and garden creations have appeared in numerous books and magazines in this country, England, and Japan.
As a graduate with Distinction in the Field of Art from San Diego State University, Lovejoy successfully combined her training in art with her love of botany and natural science.
