The Pod, a new movie by local moviemaker Daniel McCabe, premieres at Columbia Center for the Arts on July 30.

The Pod follows Paul and Sarah who are two technicians on the deep space exploration ship, the Eurydice. After the ship explodes Paul and Sarah are the only two survivors on an escape pod which is designed for only one person.

There will be an opportunity for questions, discussion, and criticism with Daniel after the showing.

Daniel McCabe is a Hood River Resident who has been making movies for the past 10 years. His movies have been shown at Film Festivals both in the United States and Internationally.

McCabe is also is presenting a Film Series of Ingmar Bergman’s work at the Columbia Center for the Arts.
