Synopsis
'I Love You... Me Neither' is a short film about an overweight woman who must gather her courage to meet the man she's in love with but has never seen. The promise of romance tempts her, but will she let weight prevent her from fulfilling it?
She decides to give it her all at the mall but after a day getting beautiful, she cannot find her car. She searches and searches the vast multi-level parking garage and finds herself on the rooftop, spent and worn out. A strange thing happens. The diminished world below, the open blue sky above, the cool breeze on her neck conjures a sensation of weightlessness and relief from her trivial worries.
Carefree and windswept, she arrives at the date but is surprised to find the man she has fallen in love with
over the phone is extremely overweight. Stunned, she leaves without a word. Guilt and disappointment
follow her home on the bus but when she witnesses a little boy protect a little girl from harm, she
becomes inspired by the promise of sweet, caring love. She turns around to go back to her date and make
her fantasy real.
