Synopsis

Surveyors during the 1800s were determined men who practiced a dark magic intended to deprive the American Indians of their lands. Surveying was the actual mechanism by which the settlers and the American government pushed westward. Using their levels, chains, and compasses, surveyors went up against insurmountable forces to certify claims. It was the most dangerous job in America and thus Indians killed them in horrible ways. My film 'Surveyor' is about this.
