Short documentary
Synopsis
"Experience the sights and sounds of climbing Mt. Hood (11,245 ft.), Oregon's highest point and the world's second-most climbed glaciated peak, through the lens of a mountain guide.
This short film follows individual climbers as they attempt to reach the summit of Mt. Hood, capturing the beauty and intensity of being in the mountains along with the psychological and physical hardships climbers face while trying to reach the summit.
Mountain guide David Saiget records the climber's progress through their mountain journey-beginning with the sleepless nights of dark and toil of exertion, to the exhaustion and disappointment of turning back, and finally to the elation and exaltation of reaching the summit."
