Everyman
March 6 through 14
A Timeless Classic
Students in the Columbia Gorge Community College Theatre Program will present Everyman at Columbia Center for the Arts in March. The production is directed by CGCC Theatre instructor Richard Parker.
What the Play Is About
First performed in the late Middle Ages, Everyman is a timeless moral play that stands at the root of modern theater.
Cast in the form of an allegorical journey, Everyman explores universal themes of salvation and redemption, which speak directly to our fears and uncertainties in our volatile contemporary world.
Join us to celebrate Everyman’s discovery of renewed life as he journey’s through Death’s portals and learns who will accompany him in his final hour.
The play will run for two weekends, with evening performances on March 6, 7, 12, 13, and 14th at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee on March 8 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors. Group rates are available for parties of 10 or more.
