Free Show Celebrates 5th Anniversary of CCA
Five years ago in June, CAST moved into the beautiful brand-new theater at Columbia Center for the Arts. Now, as part of CCA's Get Centered Celebration, CAST invites everyone to the free show "CAST Encore" to celebrate this community asset, and to thank the hundreds of volunteers who's untiring dedication makes it all possible.
Showtime: 7:30pm.
The Evening LineUp

History of CAST
CAST staged its first play, Vanities, in the fall of 1978. Frank Levin directed the comedy, although he, along with the actors, handled numerous other jobs as well. Back then, CAST didn't have a set designer, a costumer, or anyone to do makeup or hair. Everyone did everything to put on the show.
A lot has changed since then.
CAST is testimony to the fact that there is such a thing as sustainability in community arts, and that it comes only as a result of dedicated efforts on the part of volunteers and your ongoing support.
