"Wait Until Dark"

A thriller by Frederick Knott

CAST is holding auditions for Frederick Knott’s thriller Wait Until Dark, August 7 & 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Columbia Center for the Arts.

The play that the New York Post deemed “a first rate shocker” will be presented for two weekends in October, opening October 13 and closing on October 22. Rehearsals will begin during the last week in August.

The play will be directed by Richard Parker.

About the Play

A trio of criminals terrorizes Suzy, a recently blinded woman, who is in possession of a doll given to her husband by a stranger at an airport. Neither Suzy nor her absent husband knows that the doll is stuffed with heroin. The criminals concoct an elaborate hoax to persuade Suzy to give them the doll. When the hoax fails, the criminals turn deadly. Lies, murder and deception build to a shattering climax as Suzy turns her greatest weakness into her greatest strength in outwitting her would-be killer.
