No experience or preparation needed to audition

Columbia Center for the Arts' is pleased to again bring Missoula Children’s Theatre to Hood River for a production of “The Wiz of the West.”  The event is co-sponsored by Secure Storage of Hood River.

This is a fun and focused one week theater experience open to all students throughout the Columbia River Gorge area, 1st through 12th grade. Everyone is encouraged to participate; no advance preparation is necessary to audition for one of the approximately 50 roles.

Schedule of Events

Auditions are Monday, February 6 at Westside Elementary School in Hood River from 3:30 - 5:30 pm.

Rehearsals will then be Feb 7 - 10 from 3:30 - 7:30 pm

Performances on Feb 11 at 2:00 and 5:00pm at Westside Elementary School in Hood River (tickets $5 at the door).

About Missoula Children's Theatre

MCT's mission is to foster the development of life skills in children through participation in the performing arts. Within each MCT cast, girls and boys are equal; the disabled become able; the shy experiment with bravery; the slow are rehearsed to perfection; and the gifted become part of the whole. The lesson they learn is that all of them are necessary for the show to go on.

Few arenas exist where responsibility is taught and learned so clearly.
