Sullivan Mackintosh is an actor, director, and Theatre educator who graduated from HRVHS in 2011 and received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Lewis & Clark College in 2015. She has obtained additional theatrical training from Idyllwild Arts, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, National Theater Institute, and the Institute for Contemporary Performance.
In addition to her role with Columbia Center for the Arts, which has been generously sponsored by Maureen Higgins & Sakura Ridge, Sullivan is a co-artistic director for the HRVHS Phoenix Theatre, a teaching artist at Oregon Children’s Theatre and New Moon Productions, and an associate company member of Original Practice Shakespeare.
Recent major projects have included performing in seven different Shakespeare plays in summer 2017, creating and performing a solo show (SALT), and writing/directing CCA’s 2016 holiday play, The Twist & the Trees. All-time favorite onstage roles include the Cat in The Cat in the Hat, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, and Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker.
Outside of the Theatre, Sullivan has been a camp counselor and instructor for Columbia Gorge Peace Village since its 2008 inception. She also enjoys cats, board games, crafting, dancing, and anything that involves a costume.
