CCA Children’s Theatre – Teen Apprenticeship Capstone

CCA Children’s Theatre – Teen Apprenticeship Capstone

May 18, 5pm – free & open to the public!

The CCA Teen Apprentices have been meeting weekly throughout the school year, as well as attending monthly theatre intensives with guest instructors from the professional theatre world.

They have studied such varied topics as makeup and prosthetics, design, technical theatre, dramaturgy, clowning, Meisner acting technique, Shakespeare, playwriting, filmmaking and directing, and devised theatre.

In addition to their work as a group, each Apprentice proposed and completed a Focus Project of their own making — an opportunity to delve deeper into a specific area of interest.

Please join us on May 18th at 5pm for a culminating presentation of their Focus Projects and other work, followed by a celebratory reception for families, friends, and community members. Free and open to the public.
