MeForADay: Wild Landscapes (ages 6-10)

July 15-18, 9am – 12pm

Ages: 6-10

Cost: $150 (includes all materials)

Join teaching artist, Mefore Aday, to create a series of paintings inspired by the rugged and beautiful Pacific Northwest landscape. A nighttime camping scene with pine trees and stars, a lovely colorful coast scene, and of course, our iconic Mt. Hood!  Throughout the workshop, students will explore the world of colors and textures to create unique images. Each student will learn fundamental painting techniques, including every kid’s favorite – splattering paint!

Don’t miss this awesome workshop discovering new ways to express yourself through drawing and painting! Register today to save your spot! Limit to 12 students (4 minimum).

Please complete this Class Registration Release for each student and return it via email to events@columbiaarts.org or send it with the student on the first day of class.

Scholarships are available for those experiencing financial hardship! CCA provides accessible services so every child can experience the joys of visual art, theatre, and creativity! Please submit a CCA Scholarship Application Form or e-mail director@columbiaarts.org for more information!

Please note: Light snacks and water will be provided by Columbia Center for the Arts, but we encourage parents and guardians to pack non-perishable food and drink for each three-hour day. Parents and guardians are responsible for alerting CCA of any allergies or dietary restrictions of participants.
