This three-week acting intensive will employ multiple tools and practices as we explore Shakespearean performance style. Ensemble-based training will include Linklater voice, Suzuki and Viewpoints movement, text analysis, and devised staging. Training will be applied in rehearsal for our production of Macbeth, culminating in two performances open to the public on the last day of camp. Please note that Macbeth contains mature themes and this camp is a three-week commitment.

Students must have completed 7th-12th grade to attend. Students will perform Macbeth for the community on July 27 at 3pm and 7pm in the Theatre!

Space is limited to 13 students (minimum 8); register early! Contact the artist with questions here.

Please note that snacks will NOT be provided by Columbia Arts or the Instructor for this series. Parents are welcome to send students with non-refrigerated food and drink for this three-hour workshop.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
