Columbia Center for the Arts (CCA), located in the heart of the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area, is pleased to bring back the literary event, Writing Up the Gorge. Writers spend seven days at six different Write Up locations throughout the area, and we are pleased to feature local wineries in 2017. Writing Up the Gorge culminates in displaying writers’ work as an October Gallery Exhibition, A Thousand Words: Visual Arts Responses to Literature, an anthology publication on the CCA website, and a public reading in the CCA Theatre.

October 6                          First Friday Opening Reception

Locations for the Write Up include: AniChe Cellars, Cathedral Ridge Winery, COR Cellars, The Gorge White House, Springhouse Cellar, & Wy’East Vineyards. Writers can visit most locations during regular business hours and Writers’ Bags will include directions & info. Registration closes September 15, 2017 at Noon.
