For Artists

Showcasing artists from the Columbia River Gorge and Pacific Northwest in a variety of ways…

How to Submit Art for CCA’s Exhibition Space

CCA presents monthly rotating exhibitions including Juried Open Calls, Invitationals, Staff and Guest Curated Shows, Solo Shows, and Small Group Shows. We also feature works off-site at Cathedral Ridge Winery and at Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty in Hood River.

Eligibility:
Artists living in the Columbia River Gorge may submit digital examples of work for consideration in our exhibition space. All mediums will be accepted including painting, photography, jewelry, textiles, wood, glass, clay, and new media. Ideally work submitted will have been created within the last three years, however, exceptions may apply.

Submissions & Acceptance:

Artists may submit up to 10 digital images representative of available work or work in progress for consideration as applications become available. Please include dimensions, title and medium in conjunction with each image. Work will be reviewed per show timeline basis. Artists will be notified of the Gallery committee’s decision of acceptance into the show.

Work is sold at a 60/40 cut, with 60% going to the artist. Work must arrive ready to display. Selections are reviewed by the Gallery Committee and applicants will be notified.

Promoting Your Work:

If selected, CCA will execute all associated marketing and publicity and will encourage you to share with us as much information about your work as possible in order to best promote you.

How to Submit Art for CCA’s Entryway Gallery Space

Please review the “How to Submit Art for CCA’s Exhibition Space” section above. In addition to those requirements, artwork must be able to fill the entryway gallery appropriately to constitute a body of work.

Submissions will be reviewed by the Gallery Committee. Any questions or concerns? Contact the Gallery Manager at gallery@columbiaarts.org with “Entryway Gallery” in the subject.
