Celebrating the Pacific Northwest Landscape
August 7-30, 2015
Introduction
Pacific Northwest Plein Air is a series of events featuring the art and literary work of accomplished painters and writers. Artists and writers from around the country will draw creative inspiration from the incredible vistas throughout the Gorge and the Pacific Northwest. Watch the artists paint at locations (tba) in the Gorge or at the QuickDraw event during which the artists will set up and paint within a two-hour timeframe in Hood River’s downtown. Come and see the stunning exhibit of Plein Air landscapes hung salon-style and on display during the month of August at Columbia Art Gallery. Attend the Collector’s Preview Party, August 7 4-6pm, for first choice of purchase, or the Opening Reception 6-8pm to meet the artists and the award-winners for the event.
