Second Annual Word’s Fair at Columbia Arts
IT’S TIME FOR THE
SECOND ANNUAL HOOD RIVER WORD’S FAIR
October 26-28, 2017
It’s all about words, stories, reading, and literature at the Columbia Art Center’s Hood River Words Fair coming October 26-28. A celebration of the written word, the Hood River Word’s Fair brings a weekend of author talks, author book signings, writing and literary arts workshops, storytelling for adults and children with professional storyteller Will Hornyak, and reading to kids.
We’ll have a full roster of events over the weekend for kids and adults, and folks are invited to drop in and participate in any way they like.

Friday, October 26
6pm: Reading, Literary Discussion, & Book Signing with Author Floyd Skloot Author, CCA Theatre, Free
Saturday, October 27
9:30am: In Praise of Small Things: Poetry Writing for Everyone—a Writing Workshop with Writer Jill Kelly, CCA Studio, Register Online
11am: Children’s Storytelling Hour with Author Pat Case, CCA Theatre, Free
4pm: Just Scary Enough: Storytelling for Kids with Storyteller Will Hornyak, CCA Theatre, Free
5-7pm: Happy Hour Wine Tasting and Book Talk with Wine Author Ken Friedenreich, CCA Lobby, Free

10am Local’s Poetry Slam with Adults & Kids, Poetry Slam, CCA Theatre, Free
