  • There is always a need for help with repairs around the building. These jobs are intermittent and are on an on-call basis.
  • All after-hours events at CCA are supported by a volunteer House Manager, who ensures the event goes smoothly for the renter, contracted performer, and guests. Responsibilities include making sure the facility is clean, orderly and secure before leaving the building after the event.
  • If you like to help create a lovely party, you’ll love volunteering for a Center event. You may be asked by the event coordinator to do one or more of the following: • Prepare appetizers and/or sweets and bring them to the Center before an event. • Provide fresh flowers for the event. • Keep trays fresh, the service table or area clean, and coffee/tea refilled at the event. (Training in food service and handling is helpful.) • Serve on ‘kitchen patrol’ by helping clean up after an event.
  • Set up and take down the bar/concession counter and serve beverages for a variety of events. An OLCC license is required for most events. In this role, you are free to participate/watch an event, as time allows around core responsibilities.
  • Come one hour before the performance to serve as an usher. Watch the show with your free admission to the performance, and then stay for light housekeeping duties after the show.
  • Our teachers sometimes need help preparing materials and working with children during our children’s art classes. If you have experience with children and are familiar with art materials, your help will be much appreciated.
