MeForADay: Exploring India Inks (ages 11+)

July 15-18,  1-4pm

Ages: 11+

Cost: $150 (includes all materials)

Join teaching artist, Mefore Aday, to explore the amazing medium of India Inks. Students will discover different drawing and painting techniques to create images based on a combination of imagination and still life. Each student will learn how to create values with ink by learning to cross hatch with nibbed pens, as well as learn to use washes with brushes. This is a great class for students with some drawing experience, but it is not required.

Don’t miss this awesome workshop exploring new ways to express yourself through India Inks! Space is limited to 12 students (minimum 4). Register early to secure your spot!

Please complete this Class Registration Release for each student and return it via email to events@columbiaarts.org or send it with the student on the first day of class.

Scholarships are available for those experiencing financial hardship! CCA provides accessible services so every child can experience the joys of visual art, theatre, and creativity! Please submit a CCA Scholarship Application Form or e-mail director@columbiaarts.org for more information!

Please note: Light snacks and water will be provided by Columbia Center for the Arts, but we encourage parents and guardians to pack non-perishable food and drink for each three-hour day. Parents and guardians are responsible for alerting CCA of any allergies or dietary restrictions of participants.
