Summer Arts Camps: Paint & Draw What You See

Summer Arts Camps: Paint & Draw What You See

July 17-20, 9am-Noon
Instructor: Audrey Bernhardt
Ages: 9-13 years
Cost: $100, includes materials

Learn to draw and paint from real life! See shapes, colors, shadows, and light that you didn’t notice before, and learn how to draw them to make your drawings more realistic. We will work on drawing fundamentals in charcoal and pencil. Students will learn to see color in a new way as it applies to paint. We’ll work on color mixing, shadows and light, and how to make your paintings have form and interest. We will paint in acrylics.

Space is limited to 12 students (minimum 6); register early! Contact the artist with questions here.

Please note that snacks will NOT be provided by Columbia Arts or the Instructor for this series. Parents are welcome to send students with non-refrigerated food and drink for this three-hour workshop.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
