Would you like to add an unexpected element to your art quilt? Perhaps some found object that helps tell your story with a little more imagination? Something curious that’s not expected in the world of quilts?
Bring your challenging found objects to class and we’ll explore various techniques to attach these elements to your fiber art works so they enhance your piece and intrigue your viewers.
You'll work with various tools and elements ending up with samples to showcase your favorite techniques for reference.
About Trisha Hassler
Trisha Hassler, lifetime quilter and award winning Oregon artist, embraces both torch cut steel and improvisational quilt construction and through her artistic abilities combines the two mediums into one art form.
Her work has been published nationally and internationally in books and magazines. Hassler has been in numerous group and one woman exhibits throughout the United States and New Zealand.
