“Evil Dead the Musical” is a campy, silly, bloody, and extremely fun rock musical with roles for people around 18-40 years of age. While the roles are written as “college students”, they are frequently played by older actors the same way we often see in film and television. There are several full productions of the show available to watch on YouTube if you’d like to check out the show. Note that this is NOT a re-enactment of the movie, but a spoof of it and horror movies in general.

The audition dates are July 10th at 6:30pm and July 12th at 1pm at Columbia Center for the Arts. Please bring a song in the style of a rock musical that shows your range and please use a karaoke track for accompaniment as it can be difficult to assess singers a capella. The show begins rehearsals in mid-August and runs October 17th-19th, 24th-26th, and 31st through November 1st.
